We are seeking a junior IT support technician with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team as a contractor for a period of two months, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing onsite support to our clients on a rollout project. The technician must have an understanding of hardware, networking, and skills, and a bit of history with rollouts of Windows upgrades and Office packages. The candidate should have the ability to assist with router or network related issues, including supporting routers, doing cut overs, and assisting with changing ports on switches. The candidate should also have the ability to identify hardware.

Responsibilities:
Providing IT support to end-users onsite
Communicating effectively with end-users and documenting work completed
Completing job cards and forms in a timely and accurate manner
Supporting routers, doing cut overs, and assisting with changing ports on switches
Identifying hardware
Maintaining punctuality and reliability in attendance and work completion
Staying up to date with industry trends and technologies
Ability to work with Office 365, Windows 10, and Windows 11

Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support
A+ & N+ certification
Police clearance via fingerprint and ID check
List of references for previous IT support roles
Understanding of hardware, networking, and skills
History with rollouts of Windows upgrades and Office packages
Ability to assist with router or network related issues
Ability to work with Active Directory
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with end-users
Punctuality and reliability in attendance and work completion
Driven to learn more about the ICT industry
